Adapt to your customers' needs
I’ve been working this week on the business side of my business. Reviewing Q1, looking over my business plan and objectives. I realised that there were some areas I needed to change and improve upon.
In a conversation with a friend she admitted “I don’t understand enough of what you do”. It made me think, do other people feel the same? I sat down and took a long, hard look at my notes, plans and intentions. Then, I set about in asking myself questions in relation to the content and information I share.
I blocked out some time and worked on how I could show the main information people need, to understand what I do. I updated my content and added new and improved copy with some design tweaks to my website.
It’s a great feeling when you finish a task, project or piece of work. Let’s face it though, when it comes to your business, things are never completely “finished”.
Things change: people, technology, societal needs, and we need to change with them. Are your products and services, serving your customer needs?
When was the last time you:
- Checked that everything on your app and/or website was fully working?
- Looked at your customer reviews and feedback?
- Reviewed your business strategy?
- Carried out user research?
- Implemented changes from feedback and research?
You may have higher priorities, but understanding how your customers feel is important. They are the ones that can make or break your product or service.
Here at Under the Bonnet I can help you improve and adapt to your customers’ needs. I’ll carry out research to discover what it is your customers’ want. Look at your website or app’s functionality, usability and other goals. Work with you on your service, looking at areas of opportunity.
Check out the latest version of my website, where you’ll find a service that suits your needs. Get in touch if you have any questions or want to talk more about how I can help you.
What’s underneath matters.
